Fertilization : In the beginning, give these cabbages a lot of nitrogen (nettle manure, cow manure, ...) after planting, after two weeks you can switch to comfrey manure . Too much nitrogen causes too much leaf and too little fruit. Preferred soil: pH: 6.2-7.2
Dangers and concerns : Cabbage fly and cabbage whites are the biggest dangers. A cabbage collar can help against cabbage fly, but you are only playing it safe with insect netting
Harvesting and storing : Harvest broccoli when the flower shoots are well developed but before the flowers open. Nutritional value: 100 grams of cooked broccoli without salt contains:
