Growing cauliflower in general
What does the cauliflower look like?
The cauliflower is a cabbage of which you eat the flower stalk (bud/stalk) before it grows into beautiful flowers. That is why cauliflower can only be harvested for such a short period, it wants to flower quickly. cauliflower is a deep-rooted plant with long leaves. The stalk is very short and ends in a closed, fleshy, half-conical cabbage. Not really a tasty description when you read it like this. At the moment you harvest the cabbage, it should be snow-white, dense, firm and not too lumpy.
