This spicy mixture of Asian leaf vegetables is ideal for baby leaf cultivation. Mesclun 'Asian' contains, among other things, pak choi, tatsoi, turnip greens and various leaf mustard varieties. One bag is good for approximately 3 m², with a planting distance of 15x2 cm.
Mesclun 'Aziatisch' is a tasty mixture of varieties such as pak choi 'Taisai', tatsoi, turnip greens 'Mizuna' and leaf mustard varieties 'Golden Frills', 'Purple Frills' and 'Red Giant'. This mixture has a spicy taste and is harvested young. The composition and proportions may vary depending on the availability of seeds, but the mixture always contains at least 6 different varieties.
Sowing: Keep a row distance of 15 cm. Sow the seeds at 1 cm in the row and thin out later to 2-3 cm. For a nice, dense crop you can mix the seeds with some sand or sugar and sow in rows, so that you do not have to thin out.
Harvest: After about 3 to 4 weeks, when the leaves are about 10 cm high, you can start harvesting. Cut the young plants just above the growing point, so that you can harvest them up to three times.
