The rhubarb 'Ruby Jack' is a striking variety known for its deep red, juicy stalks and balanced sweet and sour flavour. Compared to other varieties, it is less fibrous and retains its beautiful red colour when cooked, making it ideal for compotes, pies and jams.
'Ruby Jack' is a vigorous grower with a high yield and can be harvested from late spring into summer. It thrives best in a sunny position in well-drained soil and is also very winter hardy, which means it will sprout again every year.
Organic/non-organic: This planting material comes from a small-scale grower, without an official organic certificate. But don't worry, we are sure that it is poison-free.

The rhubarb plant loses its leaves in the winter. So you will receive a pot with a rootstock in it. Don't worry, as soon as spring comes again the rootstock will start shooting and you will get a beautiful rhubarb plant.
