The Brod & Taylor proofer, also known as a proofer, is a versatile appliance that can do much more than just rise dough. Use it to make yogurt, melt chocolate and butter, or as a slow cooker. Thanks to its precise temperature control and consistent humidity, it's ideal for leavening products (such as bread), fermentation, and culture.

This foldable proofer is also practical: it's fully collapsible, making it easy to store. In seconds, you unfold the sections, and the appliance is ready to use. An indispensable tool for anyone who loves baking and fermenting! The appliance has two modes: a fermentation/proofing mode and a slow-cooking mode.

Fermentation mode/rising mode operation:

The appliance offers a constant, low temperature, essential for various cooking processes. The proofer creates the ideal heat for rising dough, making yogurt, preparing superfoods, and can also be used to temper chocolate. The thermostat regulates the temperature, while the radiant heat from the base ensures the ingredients remain stable within a few degrees.

In fermentation mode, the humidity can be increased via the water reservoir, ideal for rising bread dough. For tempering chocolate and preparing yogurt, butter, tempeh, kefir, kombucha, sour cream, crème fraîche, cheese, and natto, there's no need to increase the humidity.

How slow cook mode works:

In this mode, a pan can be placed on the hob and the desired temperature can be set. This allows a dish to cook slowly and evenly for optimal flavor.
