How to use:
After washing, dry the barrel thoroughly, ensuring no residual moisture remains. Now add sulfur at a rate of 5-10 g/hl. If the barrel isn't being used immediately, or for weeks or months, wrap it in plastic and store it in a location with good humidity (75%-80%), no drafts, low light, cover it with a cloth, and avoid UV rays.
PRODUCT SUITABLE FOR WINE AND SPIRITS
The oak barrels are made from used oak barrels used in France for red wine. These are completely dismantled, cleaned, disinfected, reinfused with natural tannins (from grapes), and toasted to a medium toast.
The contact surface with the wood is much larger than with larger oak barrels. Therefore, it's best to keep your wine's contact time in the barrel somewhat shorter in the first few years. Regular tasting is therefore essential. You can also blend oak-aged wine with non-oak-aged wine until a good balance is achieved.
