These organic spring onion plants are ready to be planted in your garden or in large pots. They thrive best in a sunny spot with well-drained, nutritious soil. With the right care, you will soon be enjoying fresh spring onions from your own vegetable garden. There are multiple plants per press block. There is no need to separate them before planting.
Stem onion plants can tolerate light frost, but if night frost is predicted it is wise to protect the plants with fleece. Covering your plants in time helps to prevent frost damage and maintain the health of the plants.
Tip:
Before you put the plants in the ground, put them in a bowl of water for a while, so that the pressing block absorbs water. This way they will root faster and better in your soil.
