Salvia officinalis 'Berggarten', or Large-leaved Sage, is an organic, hardy sage variety with strikingly broad, silver-green leaves. This variety has a strong aromatic scent and taste, perfect for use in meat dishes, sauces and tea. In the summer, the plant blooms with beautiful lilac-blue flowers that attract bees and butterflies. Large-leaved Sage likes a sunny location and well-drained, dry soil. The plant reaches a height of approximately 40-50 cm and is excellent for the herb garden or in pots.
