Salvia officinalis 'Purpurascens', or Red-Leafed Sage, is an organic sage variety with striking purple-red leaves that make a decorative and aromatic addition to the garden. This hardy plant has a spicy, slightly bitter flavour and is perfect for meat dishes, pasta and tea. In summer, the plant blooms with beautiful lilac-blue flowers that attract bees and butterflies. Red-Leafed Sage grows best in a sunny, well-drained spot and reaches a height of around 40-50 cm.
