This versatile herb is perfect for tea, fish dishes, salads and marinades. In the summer, the plant blooms with small, lilac-pink flowers that attract bees and butterflies. Lemon thyme likes a sunny location and well-drained, dry soil. The plant is winter-hardy and grows compactly, to a height of about 20-30 cm.
