Blueberry / bilberry (Vaccinium corymbosum 'Goldtraube') BIO - 2 liter pot

The 'Goldtraube' is a productive, self-pollinating blueberry with large, juicy fruits and a refreshing sweet-tart flavor. The shrub grows to approximately 1–1.5 m tall, blooms in spring with pinkish-white bell-shaped flowers, and offers a bountiful harvest in July and August. With its beautiful orange-gold autumn foliage, it also makes a decorative addition to the garden or pot. It grows best in acidic, moist soil in a sunny to partially shaded location.

Tips and care:

• Planting: September to March, later is also possible, but keep in mind that you'll need to provide extra water in warm weather as the roots aren't yet well established. It grows as a shrub and therefore doesn't require support.
• Pruning : Pruning should be done in the fall. The plants don't require much pruning, especially not in the first few years. However, if the plant becomes too large or yields decline, some pruning may be necessary.
• Open ground or pots: you can grow all soft fruit in pots; the larger the pot, the better they will do. They will always grow better and produce more fruit in the open ground.
