Planting shallot 'Griselle' - 250 gram bag

Mikor is a grey-purple shallot with long, slender bulbs and pinkish-purple flesh. It is known for its full, intense flavour and beautiful colour in the kitchen. Suitable for open ground and greenhouse cultivation.

  • Planting period: From September to October
  • Planting distance: Plant them in rows 30 cm apart with 15 cm between the plants.
  • Planting depth: Plant the shallot so the tip is just visible in sandy soil, and plant them slightly higher in clay soil (with the tip and another 0.5 cm of the shallot above the surface). Plant them in this year's potato patch in loose, well-drained soil. Aged compost is fine; avoid fresh manure.
  • Harvest: July-August

Approximately 8-10 pieces per 250 gram bag.
