March is the month when the vegetable garden season really gets underway. Many gardeners start sowing seeds as early as the beginning of March. Temperatures are still low, but the soil is gradually warming up, the days are noticeably getting longer, and you can now sow a wide variety of crops indoors, in the greenhouse, and outdoors.
