How to optimally care for a blackberry bush
- Planting period – Spring or autumn, preferably outside periods of frost.
- Position – Full sun or light shade, sheltered from strong winds.
- Soil – Nutritious, well-drained soil. Regularly adding compost promotes growth.
- Pruning – In autumn, remove old, fruiting shoots and tie in young shoots.
- Support – Train the plant along wires or a trellis. This prevents branches from creeping along the ground.
- Watering – Extra water is welcome, especially during dry periods or just after planting.
Harvesting, storing and using
- When to harvest? Once the blackberries are completely black, shiny, and easily detached from the bush.
- Fresh or processed – Eat them straight from the bush, or make jam, juice, pastries, or smoothies.
- Storage – They will keep for a few days in the refrigerator, and they freeze perfectly.
Pure nature, every year again
With a thornless blackberry bush, you'll enjoy a rich, healthy harvest every year. Organically grown, safe for children, and easy to maintain. Your garden will transform into a tasty paradise that lives, grows, and blooms. A logical choice for anyone who loves growing their own and pure flavors.
