Autumn Raspberry Red (Rubus idaeus 'Autumn Bliss') - 2 liter jar

This autumn raspberry is a particularly productive variety with large fruits. It is an easy plant to grow that thrives both in the open ground and in large pots. You can harvest the fruits from the beginning of August until September.

Raspberries tend to 'spread' by producing lots of new root shoots underground. If this is a problem for you, you can either apply a root barrier or dig up the new shoots each year and put them on the compost heap, or divide them.

Organically certified planting material

• Planting: Plant the shrubs from September to March (not during frost). If you plant later in the season, keep in mind that you will need to provide extra water in warm weather, because the roots are not yet well established.
• Pruning: Prune all stems back completely to the ground in winter. Note: this does not apply to summer raspberries.
