Harvesting and storing : Harvest the beans when they are long and firm. Cut the beans with a sharp pair of scissors or knife. Soup or dried beans can be harvested when the pod has withered, let them dry for another 14 days in a well-ventilated place and then store them in a closed jar, they are also extremely decorative.
