The red sweet pointed pepper 'Xaro' has fruits that change color. The fruits taste delicious and get a nice straight shape. The fruits weigh 100 to 120 grams and are 18 to 22 cm long. One bag is for approximately 2 m2, and the planting distance is 50x50 cm.

Saving seeds

Store seeds in a cool, dry and dark place, such as a sealed box in a cupboard. Pay attention to the expiration date on the packaging and use them before that time. If the packaging has been opened, make sure it is sealed properly and check the germination capacity before use.

You can easily test the germination capacity of seeds with a germination test :

  1. Place a few seeds (for example 10) on a damp piece of kitchen paper.
  2. Fold the paper towel closed and place it in a plastic bag or place it in a sealed container.
  3. Place it in a warm place, such as on the windowsill.
  4. After a few days, check to see if the seeds have started to germinate.
