Orange sweet potato plants 'Beauregard' – 5 plugs
The sweet potato variety 'Beauregard' is very popular because of its orange flesh, smooth red-brown skin and reliable yield. The plant grows creeping and forms underground tubers that can be harvested in the autumn.
Planting out can start in mid-May, as soon as the risk of night frost has passed. Choose a warm, sunny spot with loose, well-drained soil. Leave enough space between the plants (about 30–40 cm) so that they can develop well. Regular watering is important, especially in dry weather, but avoid wet feet. Keeping weed-free promotes healthy growth. East just before the first frost.
