Tomato hook 22 cm long with 12 meters of white polypropylene rope
The 12-metre long rope is rolled up on a metal reel. If your tomato plants grow against the roof of your greenhouse or conservatory, this system allows you to lower your plants so that you can harvest even more tomatoes. This system is also suitable for other climbing plants. Growing on rope is a natural and space-saving way of growing. It is safer than spirals, which fall over when the plant becomes too large or bears heavy fruit. Use the rope in combination with tomato clips for minimal damage to your plants, which helps to prevent diseases.
At the end of the season, you will probably have some twine left over. You can simply continue using this the following year. If the twine runs out after a few years, you can refill the tomato reel with a new roll of twine.
