Forni-mite contains the predatory mites Neoseiulus Californicus. They are supplied as adult predatory mites in a plastic tube with filler.

Forni-mite combats various types of spider mites indoors ( cucumber , beans , peppers , eggplant , houseplants and orangery plants) and outdoors (roses, shrubs and ornamental shrubs), the most well-known being the greenhouse spider mite. Forni-mite is active between 18°C ​​and 30°C.

These predatory mites can survive on pollen in small numbers and can therefore also be released preventively.

Release Forni-mite at the start of an infestation at 30-50 predatory mites per m2. This is based on plants of max. 60cm height (pepper, beans, aubergine, strawberry, ..).
For a crop of 180 cm (climbing plants), multiply the number of predatory mites per m2 by 3.

If your vegetable garden plants show spots here and there and the tips have turned yellow, release 50 to 100 predatory mites per m².

In case of severe infestation, first prune away the most affected leaves and then release up to 250 predatory mites per m2.

Spread the predatory mites directly on the leaves or use coffee filter bags and clothes pins to distribute the predatory mites over the affected plants. The predatory mites must not end up on the ground.
