Tips and care

• Planting: plant the tubers in the spring (April to May) once the risk of night frost has passed. Choose a sunny to lightly shaded spot with moist, well-draining, and nutrient-rich soil. Plant the tuber at a depth of approximately 6 to 8 cm.

• Maintenance: water regularly during the growth and flowering period so that the soil remains slightly moist. Remove spent flowers by gently pulling them loose at the base of the stem.

• Overwintering: Zantedeschia is not winter-hardy. Dig up the tubers in the autumn before the first frost, let them dry, and store them in a cool, frost-free place until spring.

• Ground or pots: looks exceptionally beautiful in stylish decorative pots and containers on the patio or balcony, but also looks stunning in groups in the border.
