Black elderberry 'Haschberg'
Black elderberry (Sambucus nigra 'Haschberg') - 2 liter jar
Elderberries grow into beautiful plants from which you can harvest the blossoms in the spring to make elderflower syrup or harvest the berries in the summer for syrup or jam.
- Planting: September to March (not in severe frost), after that it is also possible, but keep in mind that you will have to give extra water in warm weather because the roots are not yet properly established.
- Pruning : in the autumn.
-
Open ground or pots: You can grow all soft fruit in pots, the bigger the pot the better they will do. They will always grow better and produce more fruit in the open ground.
